Another successful Mark Reading Event and Awards Ceremony

On Monday, October 30th, 2017, the entire Westmorland School – Junior and Senior departments held an Award Ceremony to acknowledge the scholastic and athletic performance of the students throughout the school. Proud parents stopped by to give their support and cheer on the students.

Students in the Senior department who earned 90% and over in their subject areas received Certificates of Excellence while those who A averages were recognized in the Junior department. Certificates of Encouragement were also awarded to students who showed significant improvement in attitudes to work and conduct.

Honour Badges were awarded to students who were outstanding in their academic performances and in their participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the school.
Sisters, Kayla and Keira Jordan received a special award for participating in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) project organized by the US Embassy.
The non-academic awards distributed included the recently concluded Swim Splash 2017. Swimmers who placed first, second and third in swimming races as well as all the divisional champions were recognized and medaled. The Sportsmanship Award for the house with the Highest Team Spirit was won by De Gale (Yellow) House.

The students are definitely keeping the standards ever high!
