A parent-teacher conference is a great opportunity to:
-Share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, portfolios, and assignments.
-Discuss enrichment strategies to support students’ learning.
-Discuss issues that may be interfering with students’ learning.
Please be reminded of the Parent Teacher Conferencing (PTC) for all students of Forms 1 to 4 this Thursday May 18th from 8:15 to 3:15.
ALL students are expected to attend in full school uniform with their parents for the conferencing.
Mark Reading cards will be distributed at the beginning of the conferencing to each parent and each parent and student will have the opportunity to conference with each subject teacher during the above-noted hours.
There will be no regular school for students on this day.
This will be the last PTC for the school year as we discuss your child’s level of preparedness for the upcoming end of year examinations.
Please make a special effort to attend.
Also, the annual Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) for all Grade 6 students, will be taking place on Friday May 19th. Westmorland School is an examination center. As such, there will be no school for the primary and secondary departments on Friday to facilitate this examination.
